Alrighty, we are at one day before the final push out for Race Across the West. Yesterday was our van inspection, bike & gear inspection and our rider meeting. Today is quite a bit more relaxed with our own meeting to get the crew and the riders all on the same track for the start of tomorrows race and then Photos at 2:15.
My legs are feeling good and a day off the bike is always a nice break before we are on for 48 hours+. Tomorrow we push off from Oceanside at noon and are the first team to head up the road. The guys are excited for sure and nerves are beginning to settle in a bit for me. I am to the point now that I am just ready for it to start so we can do what we came here to do.
