Well, it is official. The fifth member of our family(counting Kiya) will be a boy! I am so excited to have a boy but honestly don’t think the fact that we will be having another little one in the family has quite set in yet. With work, RAAM training, event planning and everything else Janelle and I have decided we have not quite come to the realization that we are going to have another baby. After we both get back in late June it will certainly hit home and will hit home hard but for the meantime we are both elated to have a healthy baby boy on the way. The other fact is that since my philosophy, and Janelle’s, since day one is “two and through” I am glad to have a boy to hopefully carry on the Irwin name.
Kate is doing so well I can not even begin to describe. Her personality right now is so much fun and everything is an experience for her. She is babbling a lot right now and is saying more words than I can count. That’s at most 10 fingers and 10 toes worth! “Uh oh” is the word for nearly everything right now and as the ultrasound tech said the other day, “that is so cute”…until you hear it 10,000 times a day. 🙂 She is into absolutely everything right now and is curious about anything that is new. I have to admit that she is my child… she loves sweets, is full of energy and certainly can’t sit still for more than a minute or two. There is not much time left before Janelle and Katelyn both leave for over a month to head to Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma and I am dreading them both leaving. Janelle says that I will appreciate it because it will allow me to train but I have to disagree with her on that one. going to miss the girls and I am trying to spend as much time with them as I possibly can before they leave.
RAAM is quickly approaching and there will be more to come on training progress soon.
